Multi Frequency Swept Sine Vibration Reduces Time for Sine Sweep Vibration Tests
Developed to allow long term durability testing to be completed in a fraction of the time normally associated with swept sine
testing, the application has recently been approved by a consortium of German automobile manufacturers and has attracted the
interest of vibration test engineers in other sectors of the Vibration Test industry. The time reduction comes from dividing the
sweep frequency range into up to 8 sections and simultaneously controlling an independent swept sine tone with its own
tracking filter in each section.
